Gaise, real names Akinade Ibuoye, an Afro-fusion gospel artiste says the purpose of his music is to create a positive impact in listeners, and it appears he's living his message. His music career began in 2010 and promotes a christian faith-based lifestyle, with songs that also showcase his Yoruba heritage through the use of the language.

Earlier this year, just before Valentine's day, Gaise proposed publicly to his girfriend, Funto Oni at her office in a sweetly romantic way. In July the couple had their introduction before finally getting married on Saturday, 23rd November.

A few months after they met, he professed his love at a wedding they attended together, and they officially started dating. Asked about the proposal, she added, "We went for an event together and as we were leaving I stopped to chat with a friend. Charles then told me that he forgot to give me something as I turned to look at him, he brought out the ring and went on one knee. It was a perfect moment!"
